OFFICIAL CONVENTION CALL

February 25, 2026 

TO: REPUBLICAN DELEGATES AND ALTERNATES OF THE 37th SENATE DISTRICT

Pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution of the Republican Party of Minnesota, the caucus delegates residing in 37th Senate District are called to meet at:

SATURDAY MARCH 7, 2026
BEGINNING AT 9:30 A.M.
Registration will open at 8:30 AM and closes 30 minutes after the convention is called to order.

Registration fee is $20/individual at the door or pre-register from our website

The 37th Senate District Organizing Convention shall be composed of the delegates and alternates elected at the 2026 precinct caucuses, designated as lying within the boundaries of the 37th Senate District.

The Convention shall be held for the purposes of:

1. Electing Delegates and Alternates to the Third Congressional District Republican Convention and State Convention. CD3 convention is to be held on Saturday April 25, 2026, at North Hennepin Technical College. See www.cd3mngop.com for details. State Republican Convention is to be held on Friday - Sunday May 29-31, 2026, at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.

2. Endorsing Republican Candidates to run for Senate District 37 2026 Minnesota Legislative Offices.

3. Considering resolutions passed on February 3, 2026, precinct caucuses.

4. Transacting other business that may properly come before the Convention.

There is another option for payment: If you have not participated in the Minnesota 2026 Political Contribution Refund Program you can contribute $75 per person/$150 per couple (per calendar year), your money will be refunded, and it will not cost you anything to attend our Convention. This is the procedure:
1. You give us $75 per person.
2. We will give you a receipt and a Refund Application Form.
3. You fill out the form and send it to the Minnesota Department of Revenue.
4. You will receive a check in the mail, refunding your contribution.

Anyone wishing to run for congressional district and state convention delegate/alternate must submit their names to the Search & Nominations Committee via email at SD37mngop@gmail.com by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Anyone wishing to run for the Minnesota Senate or House of Representatives, must submit their names to the Search and Nominations Committee via email at SD37mngop@gmail.com by 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2026, as well as meet with the nominations committee prior to the convention.
