Our organization exists to champion the principles that define the Republican Party – a commitment to individual freedom, limited government, and the promotion of free-market ideals. Senate District 37 serves as a platform for Republicans in Corcoran, Greenfield, Independence, Loretto, Maple Grove, Maple Plain, and Medina/Hamel, working tirelessly to promote policies that align with our core beliefs.  The Senate district's state house districts are split into a western 'A' side and the eastern 'B' side. Additionally, SD37 belongs in the 3rd Congressional District.

The BPOU is managed by the elected delegates from caucus held every even year. Delegates then elect board members to represent them on an Executive Committee. 

The goal of the Executive committee is to help organize efforts to help elect Republican candidates, this may include parades, fundraisers, and planning social and educational events
